I finished this a couple of weeks ago and took it in for framing. I am really pleased with how she has turned out. I am using these metal frames for a lot of projects as there are so many lovely colours to choose from. She is stitched on SMF 32ct Tartan Lugana. TFL. Scully

She is absolutely gorgeous. I think she's SO much prettier than the original. She just seems so much more summery. Is your conversion posted anywhere?

The colours I used were DMC 600-605 to replace the purple needlepaints. They are simple substitutions for the dress and top border, however, I tweaked the side borders and the outline border with the green needlepaints as they looked better than the pinks. I also changed the bead colours; 62012 instead of 62042 03048 instead of 03062. I had just used the green and purple needlepaints to stitch Mira's WInter Maiden so couldn't see them as Summer colours, that's why I chose the pinks! Scully

I've been trying to find a good fabric to do this one - I love your choice. I've been thinking of using the original colors, but stitching it on a
light pink. Still haven't found quite the right one, though!
