I got a new TV and moved my surround sound system, so I'm all set to go. I'll be roaming our city street fair for a while on Saturday, but the heat will drive me indoors. Except for BBQ and fireworks, that's it for us, so I'm going to stitch a bit. I'll post a before pic soon.

I just started her last night - the top fin in the middle - and the colors are so beautiful. I'm stitching her on a turquoise opalescent Silkweaver Solo that has hints of yellow in it.

I will be stitching along with you guys this weekend! I spent the first six months of the year working on TW's Tradewinds and I am finally done! I was itching to start a Mirabilia again, so I put the first stitches in Mermaids of the Deep Blue this week, and I hope to get some progress on them this weekend. I have stitched about 25 Miras so far, but this is my very first mermaid design. I don't have a "before" picture to share, but that would very much be the fabric with five stitches on it, so I don't think it really matters...
