Which Mirabilia will you be starting next?

I think my next start will be Lily of the Valley, it's time to start a smaller design. It may be a couple months before I actually start her.

Ok. well I'm 29 weeks and counting. It was a very hectic week last week. On Sunday, I wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital. they put me on a monitor and drank lots of water. Baby and I are fine, no preterm labor, but they wanted me to take it easy for a few days. But I have been feeling much better since then. On Tuesday I had my glucose tolerance test, but found out on Thursday at my checkup that I didn't pass. I wasn't over by very much, but still had to get the 3...

My job is on the chopping block so I'm trying to get rid of some stash. I have this full kit availible from a smoke free home. Asking $40 including shipping.
I also have a cut of the Ametrine from silkweavers that people have stitched this on instead of the kit fabric. If you'd like it I'll include it for $50 total kit+fabric.

Valdani conversions?

I've bought the two Nymphs : Night and Day, and I absolutely LOVE them. But I'm so disappointed that they use Valdani threads. I can't afford the materials that NC is now using! Whhay can't she use DMC variegated? Anyone know a conversion chart from Valdani to DMV? TYIA, Ana

Single stitches on fabric

I'm doing Firefly Fairies and it has a lot of single stitches in Kreinik Braid. I was wondering how everyone does theirs. I've been doing one at a time and it is such a pain. Does anyone have an easier way of doing this. I'd also like to know how you end the stitches on the back when doing them alone. I've had this in some of my Mirabilia's also. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I purchased some fabric that smells like cigarette smoke and I don't know how to get the smell out. I have tried a Glade product that is similar to Febreeze, but that has not helped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I am indeed downsizing my stash, so my loss is your gain. It may take me a while to locate some of the fabric since it is not stored in just one place but here is my pricing for them: 20.00 FQ evenweave, 25.00 FQ linen or opal, 40.00 FH evenweave and 50.00 FH linen or opal (granted there may not be any opal since I am thinking of holding on to most of it but may decide to add some at a later date).

Do you participate in exchanges or round robins?

I'm a member of Hooked on Exchanges blog group. I've done 7 or 8 exchanges and love doing them. I've done 3 RR, 2 were with friends in the same city and we'd get together every month and exchange pieces. The other was with 9 people total. I enjoyed the stitching but not the difficulty in exchanging and people dropping out.
